Im making a game called BREAK. Its about a guy who enters a sweepstakes to win a million dollars but as soon as he enters it, he is abducted and given a dangerous task. To win the money, he needs to destroy an entire army and then kill the leader of the contest. If he forfeits, he dies. Screenie attatched.

Hello.

My first question is, all your screenies are attached through the "view button", not embedded to the thread, so why did you put "56k warning"? Seems a bit pointless to me!

Anyway. The story is a little generic. I mean, SuperSmash TV was doing almost exactly the same thing 14 years ago. Still. I'm not really sure where your player is supposed to be. I mean, in one shot he is definately in a jungle. But then other screenies have spacestations with lighthouses on top, and all sorts of strange things going on.

It just looks a bit jumbled is all. Perhaps you need to expand the story a little, so that you have a better idea of where the action is going to take place?

I think putting "56k warning" in the title is completely useless, I mean, who has 56kbps connections today? You can get an ASDL connection for the same price as a 56Kbps.

I need Dark AI before I can use FPSC X9.

I have a 56k connection because they don't offer high-speed in my area (not without spending 400-500 bucks on equipment and over 50 bucks a month for service...and that's just for satellite internet). Not my fault that the United States is behind in it's infrastructure.

However I agree that there is no need for the 56K warning here; I'll take care of it for you.

No one will take the game seriously with Title Menus and Game over screens like that I'm afraid, i wouldn't anyway. Unless its a fun game and from the screeny's it doesn't look like it.

i got the plotline for the 3rd level.



Oh, crap. Troops are chasing you, you are in a dark forest, and the land is full of mutated creatures (compliments of rolfy[pitcrawlers]). your only defense is a sniper rifle you stole from the prison. your best bet is to reach high ground and snipe the troops. are you man enough to make it out alive?

no one took rize of the miniunz seriously. it had similar loading screens. plus no one is suposed to take it seriously. it is made to be a combination of action and comedy

@Gameferret: I personally think you ruined the game with the loading screens and stuff. Because 1 Rize of the miniunz was made cartoony and everything was huge. Whereas this is more realistic looking graphics and the loading screens don't do it justice. If you want comedy don't put it in the loading screens.

looks great! ill use it but there is one problem. you have three lives, but it says "one chance". can you remove that, make it 1024x768 so it will fit the screen, and put the word "BREAK" it the freshbot font (the one that looks like a calculator)

how do u change the loading screen? i want to put a briefing of the level with narration to make the story more complete, kinda like in Beyond Life.

I can't help but think that this is a complete mess. What is up with all these weird MSPaint backgrounds you are making, which are in no way funny, just a tad sad.

You make me think, that you're the kind of kid who would play a fps and then go out beating people up, because it's what you "learned" in a video game.

There are more MSPaint images than actual in-game screenshots :\
