too bland and boring(add some color and pictures). doesn't work in firefox. a lot of lines overlap the text.

and i think it would be a good idea to remove the "please don't leave" quote on top. it makes people wonder why you put that there and then they might actually leave

just my 2 cents

Already did.

I suggest installing Firefox ,if you don't have it, and testing the web page in it before uploading.

I could take a crack at it by hand tomorrow. If I fix it I'll upload it here for you. That is, if you don't fix it first. I use Nvu for my pages.

{Edit}Just looked at it in Nvu. I think it would be better to redesign then to fix.

Thanks you, Keo C, I'm gonna take a look at NVU. And thank you even more for trying to fix it.

I don't think it's worth fixing. But I could to make it look as it did the first time in IE.
{Edit} Ok after playing with it, we had some tea, and I think I can fix it. {edit2} The Boxes are overlapping according to Nvu.

Okay, I opened up my site in Nvu and I see what's wrong. If I fix it in Nvu then re-publish, it'll look good in FireFox, right?

It should as this is made for every web browser. But in Microsoft publisher its really only made to be looked at in IE due to the way it views pages. {edit} I made a quick fix on it. I will test then upload it.

use notepad++ to custom edit your site and avoid browser errors. I used notepad++ for my site, which now works for all browsers. I wouldn't suggest using a visual site editor since you don't know what the editor writes in your site. Have you even looked at the source code for your site? I can't belive it works at all.

Notepad is probably the most flexible tool for writing websites and will reduce errors a lot as long as you're careful, but the website does look good; it has a nice, simple, easy-to-use layout. I agree with Dr S and CGJ - a bit of colour would be nice, it'd liven things up a treat :p

WHOA. not right. I would post a screen shot, but it's so stretched out I would need about 4 different images to fit it all on here.

...is written everywhere.

[edit]

Hmm, I don't know much HTML/CSS, but I suppose it'd be fun learning to write my site on my own. I'll consider that.

I guess I'll try totally remaking the same layout but in Nvu. If that doesn't work, I'll write it by hand.

Darn sorry 'bout that. I can rewrite it if you please.

Ya. It's really messed up on IE 7. All the text is moved to the bottom of the page, the textboxes and borders are at the top, and everything is covered in the following text:

great toturial

I think you should learn how to code in html. It is a very important skill if you plan on having a website. Plus, you can add javascript to your site if it is coded manually.

When I edited that page it was an angel in Firefox. Maybe a IE and Firefox version? Whatever you chose I'm behind it 100%.

I learned HTML (and then forgot most) but then used a WYSIWYG to work quicker and better. I need to brush up on my HTML skills too I'm afraid.
I can help with test and editing the redesign if you want.

I suppose I'll learn HTML and CSS and do it manually. I've got a lot of time on my hands, and it'll be fun to learn some new things. Thank you very much, Keo C, for trying help!

HTML is really easy to learn, and I learnt some basic CSS here - really simple, basic presentation - who cares if it's aimed at younger folks, I'm not intellectual enough to do this stuff properly

Okay, everybody gather around for Dr Schnitzengruber's lesson of the day:

In html you write stuff with XML tags. These tags are parsed by the browser to create the website.

Lets review. What do you write html with?

I hoped you enjoyed this lesson as much as I did. Good bye.

Always here to help test and edit. I can work on a sample redesign if you want. Anyway I have so much free time retired people envy me, so it's never a problem or a bothersome.

Never on Friday though, that's when I do stupid stunts.
{edit} Okay Okay, If I don't snap any bones in my body I can do it on Friday.
{edit2} I think I'll work on a redesign for fun. I'm bored out of my feet-licking Mind.
