How about having a Private Message button on the forums with a buddy list?

Yeah but if you got spam, you would only need to lock that user out.

There used to be, if I recall, a button that said "DBMail" and the alt message said "Coming soon". Maybe that was a feature that rich planned and never made? It's a good idea though. You can send and recieve stuff without using e-mail.

It's supprising what the space requirements would be for managing such a system. I mean, you would have to impose some limits on email size, attachment size etc etc. I suppose this is trivial though, most forum sites have something similar along those lines, I dunno, you tell me :o,

Haven't had any problems with the other site's one, so it would be nice to have one here too.

Why is DBS not advertising this site always stunned me.

After all it's a much more complete database of knowledge

The site is based in the USA yes...But AFAIK there's like 3% of American members.

You could easily post a thread about hockey in there and get that classic 'Soccer is better' or 'What the hell is hockey'

(here you'd get 'what the hell is soccer ')

Then you'd have to answer,'It's that unique sport were you can beat the hell out of someone at every game and only get a 2 minutes in the box penalty '

Therefore blending the joys of beating the crap out of people and beating them in a game too...All legally of course.

But I'm not like that.

I got a second job where I am security officer and THAT mixes both my joy of helping and beating up.

Real Game Tools is the official USA distributor of DarkBASIC Professional and the site contains ordering details, product information and heavily active forums.

Maybe they should put it on top, right now it's thei Latest link.I don't see as many users on gamedev.net than over there.
