Geek Culture / my USB's not working, How can i fix it?

For some reason my compouter has stopped recognising anythink i plug into USB, Including my Net Connection, External HarkDrives, Printer, Ect, Nothink works through USB as it warns me of an "Unrecognised Device" for everythink, Its not just the Built-In USB's Either, but my USB Expansion Card

Anyone know how to fix this as formating my PC is NOT an option?

I tried installing USB2 Drivers, but my system informed me that the drivers on my PC are newer, so it automatically stops the installation.

Go check the connectors inside the computer, it happened to me, one of them was slightly loose and 4 of my usb's stopped working.

I've check it and it's all fine, It does know the USB's are there, it also knows when i plugin or unplug an item, It's just unable to figure out what anythink is i plug in, IE: All USB Hardware is Recognised as an "Unrecognised Device".

I don't think he needs a new one. I think it's a driver problem. It looks like you need a manual install or something.

my computers messed up, i wodn't let me install drivers so i had to go into the control panel and remove all my USB's manually so my PC could find the again so its working now.

it was a pain and took a while but being able to post on the forum on my own computer, (which i am now) made it all worth while

Try going into MSCONFIG from run and disabling startup items that you dont need. Also run a defrag haha.

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's larger than 600x120....
