Hey guys!

I just made a great deal with my friend about a PS2 (DO NOT say I should buy the ps3 because I know you are going to say that). I get about 12 games, half of them ps2 and the rest ps1, a memory card and 2 controllers. Not forgeting the actual console.

All this for just 80€. I'll be able to pay for it by the start of next month. What do you guys think?

I don't know if you can get it cheaper, but doesn't sound like a lot of money. Also depends what games, but PS2 games are cheap as chips now.

The going rate is about £60 for a 2nd hand PS2, so with the 6 PS2 games it's a pretty good deal.

There's thousands of PS2 games out there pre-owned, so enjoy some cheap gaming while you can. I recommend Beyond Good and Evil, GTA:SA, Guitar Hero I/II, ohh and those arcade game packs can be a lot of fun.

I recommend Devil May Cry, all the GTAs and Psi Ops. If you want a really really awesome PS1 game get Silent Bomber.

I recommend Gauntlet Dark Legacy, GTA 3, and Terminator 3

As far as PS1 games go, go for Alien Trilogy, Duke Nukem, and the original Mortal Kombat (before they gave Kano the stupid metal eye)

That's AU$128 - That's quite expensive for a last-gen console!
But then again, I don't really know what the going rate for them and games are anymore.

Games I recommend, for really fun, with optional in-depth elements:
Jak & Daxter series, and Ratchet & Clank - both are absolutely brilliant!

An unused PS2 from a store is 120€, with 2 controllers and a memory card. So pretty good deal .
