I've got a bunch of objects, and say, if I wanted them to move along a footpath, then once they reach the end, turn around and come back again, how would that be done?

I know Dark A.I can do this, and i'll defiently be buying it, but in the meantime, is there another way of doing it? I tried increasing the object's X or Z value in a loop, something like this:
, but that didn't work.

Thanks for taking notice of this!

The reason you code doesn't work is because the "position object" command needs to be in the loop like so....

You need the command in the loop to update the position of the object.

Hope that helps!!

Thanks Windswept, but I tried that to no avail. It just changed the starting position of the object, it didn't move at all.

pcRaider: I'll take a look at that tomorrow, I need some sleep, thanks!

Wayhay! That is very nice, thanks Zotoaster, but how would that be implemented into, for example, a 3rd person game?
