how can i do my own segments? i found a texture on the net. Texture is 512x512 px. I converted it to dds, but i don't know what to do now.

Get either Signs or Firma (search), these will allow you to texture ready made segments. Good luck

Just download the Segment Editor (it's free) and watch the tutorials. It will be a good way to start.
