In FPSC chat that one is for w.i.p. models and stuff where this thread shows all of the FPSC ready ones!

And a pic Orrion took with my bridge model which is still w.i.p.

Bridge is good. Are the support wires a flat plain with an alpha, or separate faces?

Only 8 faces for each log..?! you poly-scrooge you.

Looks nice though dude. Textures, models and meshes above average. Good work.

(thanks for the bloom link too)

no 8....the sides and the front and back.

But looking nice!
I dont think a little bit more poly on the wood stack would
hurt though.

But keep the great work coming!

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

The only reason they're that low in polygons is because I think everybody knows I try to save framerate.

wow kinda nice pack, the textures seem a little blurry though, but that is my only real complaint.

I agree. But what you go to remeber this pack is really just started to be made so I'll have loads more entities for you tastes.

You need to fix the windows on your building, they slant to one side and are not equally spread across.

I need Dark AI before I can use FPSC X9.

Yes I understand, my entities are worse, but I'm just saying a sharp texture can easily make a low-poly model seem very high poly,

No its actually true, a bad texture will ruin an entity, as much a a good one will help it, wouldn't you agree? Anyhow, hows the pack coming?

A texture can make models look far more high poly....
But of course thats when you put lots of effort in a single texture.

I know just saying textures can make or break a model easily.

nice pack
Keep it up!

Bump maps can also make them look better. There's an Nvidia normalmap filter for Photoshop somewhere on the internet...

Aren't those windows on the buildings from Mayang? you can't use those commercially, But i suppose you already know that.

And the building's brick texture does not look good with the windows. Its too blurry.

No.

Like I said the building is a old model I made for FPSC ages ago. And you can get it.
Quote: "you can't use those commercially"

I know that. But i go to a home thingy and get like a building and then manual take out the window.

It's nice, are you using alpha maps?

P.S. You really need to work on those segments, they have seams, the look like tiles and some of them are blurry or pixelated.

Its not using Alpha maps.
And the segments are still being worked on. And now I have a seamless helper for Paint.net so I'll be fine with seamless thigns now.

I meant for the bridge. If your not using alpha maps, how are you going to make it have bars? Because right now you have triangles where the bars would be.

@Darimc Sorry I thought that you meant that was I using it currently XD New image of the bridge...

Edit:The reason for the same pictures is because I overwrited the picture and then it somehow duped the new image over the old image.

OH my days that blood body bag is sooo silent hill =O im glad youve been taking some of my advice, prehaps do one thats not soo bloody too as its a little violent for lower ratings but a slight blood spilage would be more acceptable and real for non horror games and I love the smoothing you have done if thats the number of polys you said when we spoke on msn woah...

Thanks

yeah the models are pretty good, but i think the textures need some work for the final thing, but you have already said that but i agree with slayer that the texture can make or break a model. some of the textures look like ones i have seen before aswell, im not saying they are but.....

anyway these look good keep it up

Blender.
And Ice-cube. I have been pestered for weeks now for the Betapack 2. e.g. Storm 6000 wants to try them out. SO I wrote "I busting my butt making the models and textures."
