I was looking up a list of games that are coming out soon, and spore was mentioned as coming out relatively soon.

It will be out March 3, 2008. You can preorder it on Amazon.

heres a link to the article I found.

Why would Spore be on the Wii? Doesn't make sense.

I really don't know why it wouldn't be on the Wii.
I just don't want to buy a Wii, due to the fact I value my TV.

Lol I have never thrown or even lost control of my Wiimote. I even like swing violently sometimes too lol. Spore would not ever need violent gestures I don't think haha.

Woo! Finally!

The good thing about knowing the release date is that I know when to expect it. The bad thing is that I know how long I have to wait

Osiris:

It's Omicron Persei 8, not Omacron Persei 8. That's been annoying me for a while

If I get mad there are no wires to stop me from beatting the TV either.

I may get mad at some evil level I can't get past and Poof! No more working TV. Ok enough on that. This is a spore thread.

I think it doesn't make sense, because the games big selling point is the creature editor where you can shape them ,like clay, but I think that would be a bit hard with a Wiimote,

Seeing as though it has been officially confirmed for Wii, it wouldn't surprise me if that was the source of the hold up (although unlikely)

If anything the Wii-mote and nunchuk are more like a PC mouse setup than a traditional console.

I dont think it would be all that hard for a Wii, it's nice because if I dont have a good enough computer there is always my Wii.
