Hi all,

Im new to this board and DB, so what im asking may be very obvious but it bothers me

i have a question about the Car limb example by Indi.

When i try it, i dont see any object ...
it is if like when i use the command

make object cube 1,0.5

i dont see anything ... only when i make the size > 1 (ie 2)
do i see the object ...

so code example 1 (below) will show me a box ...
while example 2 shows nothing ... what am i missing here ?
(for clarity its not running code - just shows the object creation ...)

I think i have a problem with scale in general, since im puzzled
by what scale to use .. i understand i have to choose a units per
meter scale or something but what is a common size of scale to use ?
Does that depend on what you want to model or ?
Maybe im asking and wondering too much (its getting late anyway)

Any help hints etc appreciated,

Thanks

PS: DB is really wonderfull, you can try an test stuff so easilly
but of course im saying nothing new here ...

Oops,

the 1st example should read:

make object cube 1,2 : rem - must be > 1 to show something .. ?
scale object 1,80,40,120
color object 1,rgb(150,155,150)
position object 1,0,0,0

Sorry

If your experiencing a problem with sizes then you could ghost object on NUM on the body of the car which will allow u to see the wheel limbs until they are offset and rotated within the correct angles positions.

rotate object will have to be adjusted for classic user
