Pimp your FPSC-Game with my Halloween pumpkin. It comes in DirectX file format and is FPSC-ready. And it is free!

Grab it here from Turbosquid!

Watch the YouTube ingame video!

This model is the lowpoly version of the following pumpkin:

I am still working on a new version that will be animated and can move its mouth and the eyes:

I'd like to thank Zilla for showing the proper way to share a free model that is made by another artist.

Just in time for the Holidays too!

???? I don't understand your comment, but my english is not very good, because I am from Switzerland. Is this a joke ????

What do you mean with "by another artist"? I created all these models from scratch in Cinema 4D!

Didn't know that you made it, going by your post. There is no joke; many people have uploaded (re-distributed) other people's free work here before...which is against the AUP.

I created this model a year ago, but never released it.
Here are the WIP-threads:
Who's afraid of the old FPSC skull?
Transparent Wormholes

When I made my homepage SwissKGB.com (Swiss Komputer Games Bureau) this summer, I also uploaded some of my fpsc-models to Turbosquid, but didn't announce this to the fpsc-community. When I realized, that Halloween is near, I decided to make it public that you can download my free model.

Enough evidence even for a mod?

I think there is some kind of communication break-down here. I'm not accusing you of anything. Most people don't upload there media to Turbosquid, then point to it from here; they either upload it here on the forums, or on their own site.

I was very surprised that I was accused by a MOD (you DID accuse me) out of the blue or just because I published a turbosquid-link of stealing the work of another artist and publishing it under my own name

Quote: "Didn't know that you made it, going by your post."

1. I clearly stated in my post, that this is "my Halloween pumpkin".

2. The linked Turbosquid page with the downloadable model says that this is the work of the user SwissKGB (which is also my fpsc-banner). In other words: It's me!

3. The linked YouTube-video with the ingame-model says that this model is copyrighted by Zilla and SwissKGB.

So what else can I do that to prove or at least persist that a model is made by me?

A "sorry" would be appropriate...
I know that there is bit of misunderstanding here but I think that all of us and especially the Gods -I mean- Mods should be very careful in such cases (with great power comes great responsibility ).

But I also wanna say that the Mods are doing a great job and that I am very thankful that they watch these forums with eagle-eyes and punish/ban thieves and pirates .

Thank you very much, Mods

Zilla.

I dont think you understand him...
He is not accusing you of anything....

Quote: "A "sorry" would be appropriate..."

So why a sorry?
He...only said what other people were doing with some
"turbo-squid" media.

Cheers,
Cheese Cake.

@Cheese Cake

I see...

I seem to have misunderstood this statement (my native tongue is "schwyzerdüütsch" and my english far from perfect).
And so the "BIG SORRY" comes from me

There's no need to be silent.
I esteem the work of the mods very much and it's in my own personal interest that my work won't be abused or stolen.
As Keith already said, I had a little communication breakdown (with seven seas between Michigan and Switzerland). After all, Keith didn't threaten me to send to Guantanamo. Didn't he? So I have no reason to overreact. Sorry for my "much ado about nothing".

btw I started this thread because I wanted to share my model with the community . So go ahead and download it!

I checked my Turbosquid statistics:
32 people have downloaded the model
I hope they like it
