'I awoke with a weird feeling.. That something was out of place. My head was aching.. I felt different. Changed, in some way.

I looked around the room, and noticed two beds. I was lying in one, and the other one was still empty. I felt it. It was still warm. I guess it wasn't that long before someone has been lying there too. Why was everything so quiet?

Jumping off the bed, I stood up, and got changed into the clothes that lay next to my bed.'

Lewis you might want to go over your introduction story, it has some grammatical errors in it, such as:

"I guess it wasn't that long before someone has been lying there too."

Change has to had.

The level design seems quite good, but I don't like the sci-fi hamster wheels on the wall

Ive recently bought the daz dicks horror music pack, so that adds the scaryness now =)

do you guys know anything about that phoenix sentry thing, about me being able to save games while its packed into one exe?

Im releasing this commerically you see (hopefully in a local store where I live too =)) and I want as many cool features as possible.. 4 days till pay day so yippe! I can buy more stuff! =)

I edited the dossier texture from the WWII media to make a standard file.. it suits the empty table.

This looks great, Good level design and such. Well yo add in some scaryness you have some machinery sounds I guess so that it feels like someone was in the middle of something when they well, I guess disappeared.

We all want to be awesome, but does awesome want to be us?

This looks excellent! How much of the media is custom, and how much from model packs? I don't recognise a lot of it, but then I never bought any model packs, hehe.

If you have a good plot to match the great level, this will be a real gem!

As for scary stuff - well, sounds are always good. A creepy BUT VERY QUIET ambient track looping in the background is quite effective, but you MUST NOT go over the top with it: it needs to be brooding horror, not stomping great rock tracks all the time. And some scary scenes? Here's one I thought of a few weeks ago: a room full of people lying on the floor. They are face up, breathing shallowly, eyes wide with fear. They are completely conscious, and aware of rats or cockroaches etc. skittering around the room, nudging their clothes, crawling over their bodies but they are totally paralysed. They can breathe, but they can barely move their eyes. They certainly can't speak. Picture just this room, huge, monumental, with maybe two thousand people just lying like that in rows from one wall to the other. You'd have to think up WHY they're like that, since I know nothing about the plot, of course.

I'm not actually a Kiwi, I just randomly thought it up one day.

Good idea Kiwi, but the plot involves no civilian humans. the only humans that are alive are the NPCs, and the special forces sent in to wipe out the infected and anything else that is down there, including you.

EDIT- oh and I've bought the music pack from dazdicks, so I got all the horror music i need. and Ive got an ambient track already =)

ok time to get crackin:

1st pic-I like this one alot, did you make the beds, if not where did you get them.
2nd pic-Very bland, not really anything in it.
Every pic after that- They look pretty good, the only thing I would say is darken the level a tiny bit( I mean a tiny tiny bit not to much though), and get rid of the stock blood, its way overused.

Also with the note, I think you should change it so the putting on the clothes part is after the "something was out of place" part.

Good luck, and great job

Corky
