FPSC Classic Scripts / Need some help with a " Sound in Zone Loop script "!

Hi.

I have been looking for a script and have tried searching for one for when a player walks into a sound zone in FPSC, the sound that it is playing will play on a loop until the player steps into another sound zone where by the sound of that sound zone plays in the loop and nothing else plays.

Can this be done? And does anyone have a script for it?

Well, first I should mention that each sound zone can only loop it's OWN sound, so another zone cannot force the first zone to stop looping it's sound. Now, you can try making the second sound zone activate the first one with an activation value that will tell the first one to "stopsound"... Of course, you'd have to go and alter the soundzone script for that, but I faith in you.

Actually, I believe the sound zone can use a script that only plays the sound while you are INSIDE the zone. This means that when you enter another zone, you will no longer hear the first sound. I am not positive on this, though. I am also not sure what the script might be called.

You know your code sucks when it does what you want before you know what you want.

protoborg, the script you are thinking of is a default script called "soundloopinzone.fpi"

It's located in the scriptbank and does exactly that. It will loop the sound while the plr is in the zone. When the player leaves the zone, it will stop.
