Hi board!

I have emailed the main db contact, so may get a response from them, but am on the 30 days free trial of DB Pro, so need help ASAP. (Hence me coming here)

Has anyone had probs using db in W2000 professional? In the very first tutorial, it tells me to check out the "Command Line" feature, and when I try, I get a flickering screen followed by the somewhat cryptic error message: "System Error : surfaces could not be created. D3D devices do not support backbuffer bit-depth and HW acceleration."

Clearly I need some help!!!!!

Any would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your time

Tom
