More information required please!

What you put could mean a number of things, so please clarify.

I mean like a patch for a game like the text based game I made
http://www.mediafire.com/?3zekljmzcru
I want to patch it instead of uploading the whole file cuz thats a waste of my internet download and upload limit plus it would make the people who download it lifes easier.

Can't gain access to your game as I don't have WinRar, but if it's an EXE (or has any additional files) then you might want to take a look at the Clickteam Patch Maker:

http://www.clickteam.com/eng/patchmaker.php

The Freeware version is exactly the same as the full version, except for an advert for Clikteam at the end. Just specify the folder on your computer where the first version is, the folder where the new version is and let the program build the patch for you.

Hope this helps.

On our way 'ome, on our way 'ome...

Ah OK - with you now.

The easiest way is to have as many parts of your game built by the main exe from smaller external files as you can.

If all the media and levels are integrated into the main exe using Make Final (F7) then the resulting single exe can get quite large. So, instead, just use Make exe (F6) to create a smaller exe and supply lots of data files.

When you want to update the game, you only need to supply the smaller changed data files instead of a new larger exe.

I think TDks way is easier plus my program is an exe not final I had trouble with the final where the music wouldn't load I tried the patch maker and I don't really get it I think you have to make it so you have install the program I tried the install creator but It still doesn't work but good program maybe I'll try it in the future when I grow up and start real game making.
