I am currently designing a money system in the FPSC source. I want to know if this would be of use to anyone that I should release it publicly... So let me know. There are currently 6 fpi scripting commands so far:

Conditions:
"money"
"nomoney"
"plrmoneylessthan"
"plrmoneymorethan"


Actions:
"giveplrmoney"
"takeplrmoney"
"setplrmoney"

So let me know if you feel this is something you would need.

I would welcome it into my humble abode.

Yeah, but it wouldn't necessarily help my game out. Pretty simple mod to make though, isn't just a global variable?

Why don't you incorporate all of these mods into one giga mod?

Yes, UrlForce and I are both working on seperate mods, and I believe once we have both finished enough in them that we feel satisfied, I think it'd be a good idea to combine them both into one big mod for everyone to enjoy!

Also, when new sources come out, you can count on us to recode the newer sources for everything we've already done!

I suppose that depends on how easy he wants to make it on everyone to incorporate a shopping system.

He could very easily say "Here are some commands to manipulate a variable" and then expect everyone to go out and use that one variable to design a shopping system.

OR

He could make several commands that make your life easier when it comes to shopping. Like commands that will bring up a custom In-Game HUD menu for the user to shop around in!

And you should create a entity dollar and/or hud for the money entity system...then it would make it good..Is this mod free? to download in .zip?

All mods are free. They have to be.

TGC could sue us if we were to try and sell the mods. That would be against the license that came with it.

However, we can decide NOT to give them to you. Lol

Why not just make global variables? I'd like to able to have a script write to a text file, then be able to call on the values. Then it would make RPG type games more possible.

Yes, this is being done by altering the source code, although it reverts back to V1.0 of FPSC.

But, I don't care. We can have better gameplay altering the V1 source than we could ever have had in V1.07

I really need a mod for 1.07.

Im a new user, im young and FPI-dyslexic, i simply dont have the foggiest and cant learn FPI, so copy and paste code snippets please!

You cannot mod 1.07 since the source for 1.07 has NOT been released yet.
