finally got a computer with windows 2003 server on it. Installed active directory, set up a user account. I set a domain name, but I'm not sure how to configure the DNS. I don't want this domain to be actually resolved on the Internet, just locally.

Basically, what I'm trying to do is setup my own little "mini-internet"(intranet) so if I go to "mysite.abc" it'll pull up whatever website/computer I have set up for it. Eventually, I want to have a VPN setup so my friends can be on the network as well.

I have some experience with all this, but never have had to configure it all from scratch before. My windows server book hasn't been much help in setting it all up. Simply put, how do I get Computer-A to resolve 'mysite.abc' locally on my server's domain controller and how should I set the DNS for that DC?
