Hi! In my email account somebody is making Newsletter subsriptions! Under the name of Peter! Is there anyway to stop him from doing this? Please! And he is most definately from America. He done them at the same time aswell. Is there a way to stop this "Peter" idiot from using my email address?

Yes. But still he had access. I'm going to email MSN to change my email. See what they can do about it.

You should send him angry emails! Then you should format your computer!

Alternatively...
You could just unsubscribe them, mark them as spam so any future ones go into the spam box (should he resubscribe you), then just delete the emails you've already received.

Haven't you thought... "actually he hasn't got my email password, he is just typing my email in the box to subscribe to newsletters"

Just ignore them, unsubscribe and after a while this guy will get bored. If this dude is from the forum, this is probably exactly what he wanted you to do and get all annoyed etc.

Its finally here!

Indeed, that could get a little tedious after a while, though.

Deathead, it's more than possible that you just wrote your e-mail address down somewhere (e.g. a post on some forum) and from there your e-mail address was taken by a search-bot or spider or whatever they use off of the internet and was auto-submitted to the newsletters.

Yeah, if you have a website (or just on forums, as said above) and make the mistake of typing out your full email address, then search bots will pick it up and start sending their spam to it. Happened to me before.

Just make sure you edit any websites/forum posts that have your full email, and add the return address of the newsletters to your ignore list.
