i would like to know, how would you be able to make a splashing decal appear when a \"bullet\" hits water (decal v decal)? so when I shoot a pools of water, a splash would be made when I shoot the water.

You have to go into the Audiobank\materials folder and open the material index text file

You have to change the Decal for the water material(number 6 or 7 I think)

You also have to make sure the that the item you are shooting is a segment or entity because Decals don't have collision. Make sure the Segment has the water material.

If you wanted a decal to play a splash though, make an invisible segment with the water material below it.
