I basically me that I want the 0 key to turn to the fist weapon, even when you're picking up stuff.
Well, I just thought of an idea, maybe I could try scripting so that when you switch weapons with the # keys that #0's key is replaced with #1's weapon, which I would have the fist be the starting weapon. It's just a wild guess but it might work.
