What would you say is the 'recommended' FPS setting for any darkbasic game? (i dont want to use the 0 option because my game would run at different speeds on different systems )
Screw the rules! What can I blow up???

I'd say 20-60.

It dosen't really matter. Above about 60 you can't see anyway.

I set mine at 60 in XP, but then when I run it in 98, it's slow, like around 30 or so. Same computer, too. Weird. I'm just adding an option at the start where the user sets it on their own.

Just a tip...

Only have one sync command within a loop, and put it just before the loop command.
