I have now learned about Variables and did a lighting tutorial on how to set ambient lighting and spot lights.
Still don't have a clue about collision detection, but anyway here's a remake of the Classic SM64 castle grounds which is a Work in Progress.


That's what it looked like after I added the Ambient light. Before:



I used spot lights for lighting it up, which are now being deleted because I don't need them.
I used Blender 3D for modeling an texturing everything you see in the level. IT works great for making stuff like that.

Impressive, macs hate modelling programs though so i'm out of the loop .

Wow, I've got to admit I didn't expect this much feedback. Thanks!
Anyway, i finished working on it, and now I am beginning to work on the level of Bob-omb Battlefield. Basically, I'm re-creating all of my favorite levels. If someone wants me to re-create any levels they think are good, I'd be open to suggestions.

Programming is like eating cheese. It can get sticky if you don't use it right!

But I like cheese.....

That's a good one, but it's a bunch of platforms hanging in air and would take a while to model correctly. It's something I'll do in the future though.

Cool, but Blender is capable of way more than that! I used to be good at it but stopped.
