I've got HOMM4 installed on two different machines and decided I was fed up with the glitches and that it was about time I downloaded and installed the various patches. But the patches just give the error message "Missing or invalid Registry/INI file" and abort.

At first I thought it was something to do with the two different versions: i.e. English (US) and English (UK) but both patches failed in the same way.

Any ideas anyone?

[Yet another reason why I don't take much notice of those who complain about the bugs in DBPro. ]

Well, to help you out, I'll get this up in the list with a lame comment. I hope someone else can actually fix it for you.

"I guess it has something to do with an Invalid or Missing registry key..."


A mod has been erased by your signature because it was larger than 600x120
