Just a quick 'poll'. How many of you DB only users are planning on getting the new FPSC? I'm just curious if there will be a big switchover from just DB to using both products.

There's the possibility that I will, depends entirely on getting Vista with a DX10 card.

I may eventually, but probably not. I'm holding out for DBPx10. I don't even have Vista yet either soooo.

I won't for at least four and a half years, because that's how long I intend to wait before upgrading.

Since the other one was scaring you guys so much...

Will it teh workz on Linux? It MUST work on teh Linux!!!! For it if not, I be MAD.

I predict something along those lines (points above) will occur, soon (and not from me).

As for me, no. If I do, it'll be for completeness and testing (testing as in "what does this do? why do people like it? how can it be better?") :/

Cheers,

-naota

@Lucifer: I've got GeForce 8800 GTS 320 MB too. woot! xD

I won't get FPSCX10 - but when DBProX10 is released, I'll most likely get that. Hopefully, porting my game from DBPro to DBProX10 won't be much hassle. ^^

Even though I want to make my next full game in DB (not counting my endless un-announced WIPs), I'm gonna just modify the FPSC X10 source when I get DBP X10.

FPSC X10 will have it's runtime source released like FPSC?

Once DX10 is on WINE or Cedega, it will work.
