Newcomers DBPro Corner / Template Problems

So I downloaded the GDK that was advertised with VS 2008 and installation went fine, but when I go to create a new project in C++ there is no template available for GDK. Any idea why this is? also if it helps I can run the sample programs, I just can't seem to open up a template

I would like to help more but I don't know much about Dark GDK and VS 2008, still learning.
