Hi. I spent about an hour yesterday making a shotgun model and a simple texture. It's not the best model in the world but I am quite pleased with the animation. Just extract to the gamecore/guns folder and you're ready! If someone wants to create a pickup or VWEAP then feel free to post it in this thread for others to download. Free for commercial or non-commercial use.

I will make more weapons (better quality) close up to christmas.


(The skin texture is from Mayangs and the shotgun shell texture is the one from FPS creator)

Thanks for all the positive comments. You may notice the right hand shell goes squashed a bit during the reload animation. I might fix that then update the download.

Any ideas for my next weapon?

Well that can happend I think. I own a double barrel shotgun and that has two triggers for each barrel.

Darimc, I use Caligari Gamespace to do all my stuff and I've got templates to help me with size and rotation. I just export as direct x and it's done.

Is it me or is the hand on the sten the exact from Half-life 2? But with different texture? Oh wait sorry just done a check by outlining you model with the half-life hand and it doesn't match but they do seem awfully the same. Now back to the crit. Nice efforts! The hands could use some work though because to me the nails on them looks like skin, but atleast its new weapons so thanks!
