There was no point in the first three steps, all you have to do to achieve this effect is use the last step, this is pretty useless but at least you tried.

Ya i've never experimented without certain steps I'm still learning paint.net and fpsc myself, but I put it out there for the people that can't do anything without getting a start you know what I mean right like that first little shove, this was just to have some people to get out there and test somethings out I can do better things, but ya thanks darmic your texture tutorial kinda helped me make this so it gave me that shove i was talking about But deathead is helping me make way better textures like bamboo and what not.

Yes actually thats what I was actually looking forward to I want to make very good textures, One for myself, and Two to contribute to this forums they have helped me alot I have atleast spent 20 hours of my life already making textures and donating things But I don't really know how to make wood yet i'm waiting on msn for deathead.....
