These are my first textures, made in paint.NET. Most of these are very, very simple. I followed some tutorials and tweaked around for some of these textures. Some of them are just the "cloud" effect with some noise added.
Here is a list of what I have made-

A road segment or gravel
2 road segments with an arrow on it(left and right)
A sand segment(the "cloud" with noise)
A brick segment with moss
an old brick segment
A "dirty plaster" segment
A "a rock segment"
2 attempted lobby segments(meaning it didn't really work out)
An attempted water segment(the "cloud" tool)
A concrete segment
2 "slimy" floor segments

That's it.

Also I have a question. I made these in paint.NET and then brought them int FPS with the Firma Segment Maker. Can I post the segments for download? If not I will just put up the textures.

Some of the tutorials that helped me and that I used were:

"Inspires Grunge texturing tutorial" I did not tweak anything here, it just helped with learning to texture

"Darimic's video tutorial on making a simple texture in paint.NET"
-for the lobby segment I did the same thing as what was in that tutorial only I added a circle in the center(see screen). If I am not allowed to post this please tell me and I will remove it.

"Creating a road by Deathhead" Helped with the road segments

Here are some in-game screens. Please post some Constructive Criticism.

Thanks for the comment!

I was using 1024 by 1024 when I made them but I think Firma reduces the size.

They are very good for a beginner. You just need to learn how to make them seamless.

I agree with darimc.

Also, check your FPSC preferences and see if the texture quality is turned down.

I checked the preferences and it was turned down so that might have been it.

I will try to post more textures today.

EDIT: Does anybody know if I can post the segments for download? I made them in Firma segment maker.

Nice, but rather plain and I don't think they're getting anyone excited. 5

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Nice job man i like them.
I have a few questions on the water texture, does it move? like ripple or make waves and ect? does it splash when you walk on it. Can you swim in it?

Nice job on them, keep up the good work.

Hostile Combat.
