The website is a complete mess.

I have to ask, what has Ninja Soft Games ever produced? As I recall you've never released a single game. For the longest time you were working on a ninja game that you talked about in a couple newsletters, then dropped it for an FPS, and then didn't have time because of friends and plays.

I hate to be harsh, but you can't claim to have a company if you've never done anything. So...
Quote: "Not many people start somthing and stick with it for this long.
So its quite an accomplishment."

What is it exactly that you've stuck with? Not game making. Not newsletter making. It appears to me the only thing you're trying to give yourself an award for is claiming to have a company for two years.

Let's see--- on your site you have a bunch of torrents to Anime films--- and nothing else. I don't understand what the point of this thread is

Jeku: explained that already gosh. Im redoing the website. But I published my anime ego site to it to test it.

Cash: Dont start with me man. I have made 2 games not neccicarily with any TGC product but noe the less I made 2 full games. I really havent had much time for much else. Between my gf/school/plays/improv/FBLA/other friends/Homework/voice lessons. Its just hard to fit games into the equasion. Sorry to dissapoint you CC but i do have a life and Game creation took aback seat for a very long time and yes I will admit that frankly I havent made anything recently. Im redoing the site BTW and Im going to make an attempt at an RPG by the middle of january. I just put the Anime Ego site up as a place holder. So stop chewing me out over it. Besides nobody ever vists my site so it does not matter what i put up.

Doesn't that contradict your previous sentence...

Quote: "Not many people start somthing[sic] and stick with it for this long."

Quote: "Besides nobody ever vists my site so it does not matter what i put up."

Clearly if the people here are posting about your site, then they have visited it, no?
When you're trying to announce how great you are for sticking with something, you need at least a small shred of proof. So far, we have illegal download links, and you yourself contradicting the fact that you've stuck with it...

Its kinda cool even though we havent done much i have been hanging around for 2 years so guys stop twisting what im saying around.

Maybe game development has taken a back seat to your life, that's your prerogative. The bottom line is that you claim to have a company but aren't making games. Therefore, you should neither claim to have a company or make games.

Would I go onto a forum that deals with car restoration and claim to have an car shop of my own if I actually had no shop and never restored a car? No, I wouldn't. That would be silly. What would be sillier is if I posted a thread congratulating myself for maintaining that company for two years and when confronted with the truth began making excuses as to why I don't actually restore cars.

Quote: " Between my gf/school/plays/improv/FBLA/other friends/Homework/voice lessons. Its just hard to fit games into the equasion."

Then don't post about it. Nobody cares about what you're saying about a specific topic if you're saying nothing at all. You can't be all that busy, you seem to have plenty of time to browse the Internet, posting silly threads and watching Anime.

Quote: "Sorry to dissapoint you CC"

You should only be dissapointed in yourself. I couldn't care less what you do, just don't make pointless threads like this. Come back with something real.

Eureka Seven, answer me this - what makes you think that you have a company? In the past two years how much money has your company made? If the answer is $0 then you can't claim to have a company.

It's Curtis. Is copy and paste broken?

Okay... Not exactly what I had in mind. Long ago I warned you about setting a pattern and damaging how others perceive you. Luckily it's something you can fix. Just don't claim to be doing things you aren't.

Um...welcome to regular life?
All of the stuff you mentioned shouldn't be a deterrent as to why you should not be making games...many people here have all that PLUS game making in their lives.

Just admit your company sucks and you have nothing even slightly intriguing under your name. Or maybe you're just frustrated that you got told straight by a guy who's accomplished a lot? (Cash)

Dude, calm down. Jess was here just an hour ago. We're not at your every beck and call. If you want something locked because you're embarrassed, believe me when I say it's not a priority There are threads that actually deserve to be locked.

If you want to celebrate properly, then why not make a little game, something you can do in the space of a few days - a simple shoot em up, a retro clone, anything that will mark the occasion.

Frankly starting new projects instead of finishing them is a downward spiral that ends in nothing being accomplished - start small and always finish projects, it's the only way to get the skills needed to do bigger projects.

We're going down... in a spiral to the ground...
