FPSC Classic Models and Media / Character exporting problem

Hi All,

I'm having a strange problem when exporting my character.

It is always showing his back as in the picture however I've tried to rotate by using 1234 etc buttons or either in the .fpe file ..

No way

I'd like to excuse if there is a solution for this problem on this forum but I've searched a lot

Can anyone help with this problem ?

I've tried to rotate the object no way

Check this out in your FPE. If this line reads like this-
fixnewy = 180
Then change it to-
fixnewy = 0

If it's already 0 then make it 180.
Don't forget to erase the previously made .bin and .dbo before placeing and testing again. If the gun is backward after doing this then the model must be rotated in the modeler you made it in before exporting. Hope that helped.

yes it was included in the video tutorial but used 180 i have had to use 0 not the 180 however I've tried this but I didn't delete the .bin and .dbo may be

lol of course we can't shoot beautiful creatures .. but in this game those frogs are bad ... they're holding weapons trying to kill ..

Is there any problem with update v1.07 ?

I've tried to export the character and use with v1.07

but it worked with v1.00 fine as in the image ?

I will try later .. please Mods keep this thread open for a while

ok got it ...

When exporting the character while using version 1 (demo) the character was exported successfully.

When I've tried to export it while installing the update v1.07 .. the output was as follow using the same .X file !! huh .. It seems there is a bug in this update ??

I was going to get crazy but thanks God I've discovered it while I'm in hurry

this is because of the placement of the first bone is at its waist and not at its feet. Been covered allot. What programs do you have at your disposal? There is still a way to fix this.its a pain but it can be done. Also did you rig it to the default FPSC skeleton?

I've solved this problem temporarily by exporting using demo version and it is working in the v1.07 but when exporting while v1.07 it's not working

you have to make sure the fist bone or base bone is at 0,0,0 of the x,y,z coordinates. it should place it right between the feet. Lots of skeletons have it at the waste, so if you can drop that bone somehow it would work fine. for more indepth you can click here
