Although CGJ was a bit short, he is right - if you are new to programming.

As your join date is recent, we have to assume that you are new to DB and if true, you will run into trouble if you don't start 'small'. If this is true then you are probably being a bit over-ambitious talking about towns and collision so soon.

If you have more experience, then my apologies. We get lots of new users to DB, many of whom over extend themselves at the beginning and simply crash and burn.

We'd rather you start at the bottom but stay with us!

I have programming knowledge, just not DBP. Most of the stuff is switching out syntax for DBP's syntax. I also did a little with the DBC demo. I know how to structure my programs and how to logic it all out. I just need a tut that will show me how to do the thing I need at the moment. Even if I started at the bottom and worked my way up I would still have this problem because every tut I've found(and I read a lot) does not properly address any of my questions. Most tuts will be going good then it will promise another lesson and it just won't be there. Even a year after being posted nothing. Or it will be a broken link. Some one please help.

And then when you crash and burn at least you know where the fire extinguishers are kept.

Continuing on form that metaphor slightly.

I can make a matrix. However for your second statement I don't want the building to be random. I need to know how to handle models. I'm concidering constructing buildings using primitives, but if you know where I can get decent building models for cheap or free. I would apreciate it.
and last is that it for basic collision?
