WTF?! Linux = the official OS axis of evil? I know some people hate linux, but aren´t this to goo toooooooo far? Or porhaps, this is an non-serius site. I´m not that good at telling if things like this are jokes, so...

Linux has never been claimed to be America, however unless I'm mistaken Apple Pie is actually a Dutch dish. Certainly as hell isn't American (but they always do love to steal someone and proclaim it theirs :coughjetenginecough

As for Linus Torval being against free-enterprise, he is nothing of the sort. He has been a poor student (now professional student) all of his life.. he has made nothing from developing Linux and doesn't even have a "donate" thing on his website like most open-source projects do.

He finances programming by being a University Professor (now working in the United States, but originating from Finland).

The entire basis behind the project was to make a small, portable variation on Unix (also free btw, and firmly American developed; by a certain Mr. Berkley... he has a freaking University named after him for his contributions to the computer and software industry fgs!!) that anyone could adapt to anything they wanted to.

Given the GPL which accompanies the source strictly forbids ANYONE from making any money from retail of the source or product itself; legally he couldn't sell it to "the Axis of Evil"

...

This person is a prime example of hypocritical scare-mongering zelotism that is more commonly known as.. oh what's the word oh yeah a FASHIST.

What an idiot. It's free, and encourages sharing changes, and hence it's evil (communist in his eyes)? Isn't being a monopoly more of a problem to free trade?

Not that I dislike their political or religious point of view, be a Christian or a republican...but if they're really serious, then I can think of one good reason why people should be allowed to abort...

Of course it's a fake site. This thread is useless as there's no argument here.

@Mr Z - In case you missed the memo, it's against the AUP to link and debate religion, of which that site does. Even though it's obviously satirical, it's offensive to real Christians. I'm not going to start posting Muslim fundamentalist sites, now am I?
