I searched the forums very carefully, and couldnt find a single thread about this.
So does anybody know how to DISABLE bulletholes on walls COMPLETELY, without even leaving the tiny dot-like bulletholes?

Tis also applies to floors, ceilings, entities, etc.
I would like to make a weapon that leaves no trace anywhere.
This should include the impact decals also, but the bulletholes are my main concern

Tanks in advance!

Don't shoot the walls.

I'm guessing you need this for an invisible wall, right?

Hey! The first post disappeared. Awesome!

EDIT: Nevermind.... it came back.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Ok, I just figured it out!
For those of you who don't know: if you want a weapon that doesn't show any bulletholes, or decals, on segments, entities, etc. just right click on the entity in the editor, then in the AI Scripts section change the "Fire Iterations" to -1, and it wont show any bulletholes, or decals anywhere!
note that by doing this there are none bullet streams per shot, so you wont do any damage with it!

you go into the gunspec.fpi file and you set the gun's 'range = 0'

This should set the gun to 0 range, thus you can never ever hit a wall.

If that doesn't work, then try setting 'range = 1'.

Hey you're right! I never tought of that
But it works with fire "iterations = -1" just as fine.
But you found another way around
If I hadn't figured it out, you would have helped me alot!
Thanks Bad Monkey
