I was listening to the radio a few days ago, and I heard this about this website: http://freelaptopreward.com

I was just curious if anybody here has tried this, or even heard of it. I know already that almost every ad that you hear for these kind of things are usually fake, but it looks like it could possibly be true. I dunno though.

If you do get the laptop, you may get 1000's of spam emails. They don't have the one I wanted anyway

Read the privacy policy:
Quote: "How We Use And Share The Information Collected

We use your Information to administer our business activities, provide customer services such as technical support, distribute information about changes to our site, and send you, and enable others to send you, information about products and services that may be of interest to you and to contact you or use your Information for any other purpose. We send communications to you ourselves, and your Information also is shared with other organizations that may contact you for any purpose by email, phone, text message, U.S. mail or any other means of communication."

Basically, they can pass you details on to whoever they want for any purpose - you sign up for that just by submitting your details.

But:

It says they use it for just their business, I think. I still dunno, though lol

someday I'll get a second phone line and address listed under a fake name and cash in on all the freebies around the internet... Then I will sell them all and be rich whilst the mailboxes and inboxes keep piling up with advertisements, spam, and who knows what else.

Certainly not. I'm just saying I will have a second address, phone number, and e-mail address, and have all the advertisements and spam addressed to those locations with a fake name. I will sort through the spam and what not to get all my free xboxs and PS3s I've won from smacking elves and penguins around on advertisements.

Why not use free disposable emails form bugmenot?

That sounded so much like an advert.

I would say they sell your information instead of giving it away, but yeah, pretty much a list grabber here.

Whether or not you or anyone else ever gets a laptop out of it remains to be seen, but you can bet your bottom dollar that you'll get plenty of e-mail, junk mail, and evening phone calls from diverse and far away telemarketers.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.
