Hi,

I have to run a programme made with darkgdk on a computer with an old version of directx. I can't update directx, so I would like to know if it's possible to compile a darkgdk programme with a version of directx came out for more than one year ( 7, 8, 9a ... )

thanks

I think that only 9.0c is supported, although you can compile with an earlier 9.0c SDK, not only the August one.

You *might* be able to compile against an earlier version of DirectX 9, but you still need to run against Aug2007 DX - the GDK will insist on the correct DX DLL being loaded and run (d3dx9_35.dll I think) - that requires you to have a compatible DX runtime installed at the very least.
