Anyone got this script. been searching and cant find it.

I need some canned food cans on top of some spills. but because of the can dynamics this doesnt work very well..

I mean i could make the spills decals if i knew how to make an alpha dds but i dont

So i use a lowpoly model instead... but that collides with the can and i want the col turned off on the spills...

I'm a little confused by your question. Do the cans need to be dynamic? If not, using static entities for both should have no collision problems.

If you want to send me the spill textures, I'll make them decals for you.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

well the cans needs to be dynamic.
the spills needs to be without collision thats all.. else the cans will slide of the spill area

i tried using the code i posted earlier on the spill entities. without luck.

Did you try turning the physics off on the spill entities? Be sure to delete the spill entities .bin and .dbo before testing again.

Best.

can they be turned off via the dbe?
cause this is a pack and they need to work for when placed by anyone without them having to edit every entity in there game lvls

Ah yeah... thats a good question. I have not seen a variable for that in the fpe files. I sent your files back.

Best.

Greetings

Xplosys is probably the best scripter on the forums but I think I can help with this one.

Download the attached 'appear_nocollision.fpi' script, stick it in your scriptbank folder then set as AIMain in your food can entity properties. Make sure the entity is set to dynamic and now you have visible cans which you can walk through.

Also works great for making walk through grass, secret passages etc

The no collision script should be the appear AI script and not the main AI script. Then you can set your main AI script to whatever you wish.

Please have mercy and use the search function.
