Does anyone know how to get a gamecube running properly on a computer monitor? I have a Hauppauge TV card, so I got the WinTV program from their website and got it to find the gamecube on one of the composite channels, though there seems to be a 1-2 second lag between what the gamecube outputs and the computer displays (buffering?). I looked through the settings but I wasn't able to get rid of the lag. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jeff

Try searching for DScaler, its what I use with my Hauppauge card. I find it works better than the WinTV software that came with it, however I have never managed to get the picture quality to be all that great due to interlacing.

All I can say is I play my GC on my monitor through composite cables and a TV card and there is no noticable delay, was a cheap card as well.

I've got a capture card that acts as a webcam... limited to 30fps but no lag, excellent quality and very cheap. I use it with the Wii, DVD player (as my DVD writer will write but not read) and PS2.

It's not that. It just sits there and grinds cogs if you put in a DVD that has already been written, or a movie, before giving up and spitting it back out. It did only cost £20 with a built in CF-SD-MS-SM card reader and a four port hub, so I can't really complain.
