Hi All!

I'm running Vista 64, with VC++ 2008 Express,
with the Dark GDK and DirectX Aug 2007 installed.

If I run a fullscreen (non-windowed) program I wrote while in XP with VS2005 + the Dark GDK (which worked fine in XP), everything looks fine.

If I recompile it under Vista 64, according to the above listed specs, with the fullscreen option (call dbSetWindowOff(); ) instead of windowed mode, it constantly resizes every window on the desktop, so naturally I can't do anything except end the process.

Has anybody else encountered this?

did you try with dbSetWindowLayout(0,0,0) ?
Because i was using GDK on windows vista with two monitors
and it runs fine ,(tough it was 32 Bit not 64Bit Vista)
BUT on vista it runs 20-30 FPS slower than on XP.
So i moved to XP.
Cheers

EDIT: some typo

Hey, that worked, and even looks the same

(replacing dbSetWindowOff() with dbSetWindowLayout(0,0,0))

Thanks!
