Hey,
I took this after a friend showed it to me, and it was surprisingly very accurate for both her and I, as well as a couple other friends who took it. I thought it might be interesting to see what everyone else gets. I got ISTJ, and all but the "artistic appretiation" and "catastrophe mode" describes me perfectly . Obviously it won't be completely accurate for everyone, but it's interesting nonetheless. Anyways, here's the test, takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on how slow you are:
http://www.personalitytest.net/cgi-bin/q.pl
After it gives you what you are, look your type up here, because it gives more and more accurate (for me at least) info than the page you take the personality test on does.

I got ESFP and I think it's only about half right... I dunno... maybe it's about right except the loving to be on the phone part... I never pictured myself as an entertainer though I guess when I try to entertain people it works ok. Dunno... I always thought I was pretty dull.

Heh, yeah, a lot of people (well really everyone) is a mix between them because obviously everyone is unique, so it has to generalize.

I don't find it useful, but I thought YOU might find it interesting .

Apparently I'm an ISFJ--Nurturer. I didn't really consider myself a nuturer, but a lot of the stuff there described me...

Yeah, don't go by the title they gave it, just go by what it says. I don't consider myself a duty-fulfiller, but mine describes me .

Not too far off the mark, I don’t know about the single-mindedness, I am always open to new evidence and theory’s as any scientifically minded person should be. (But maybe that can be seen as single-mindedness right there but hey what are you going to do.)

Though I found myself 85% of the time looking for answer C…

In many cases I could perceive what the purpose of the question was, but the options presented where simply inadequate for allowing me to truthfully and correctly answer the question in a way that would fulfil its purpose.

I would have to say that a good chunk of those questions were really the same question repeating it self over and over, just worded differently, but I guess that’s the point.

This is a Meyers-Briggs test, although the real one is expensive to take. I myself is an INTJ (I've done the real one). I like Keirsey's naming better though, he calls this type Mastermind and according to him it's the rarest of all 16 (1% of the worlds population).

You can read more about Meyers-Briggs on Wikipedia if you are interested. They got links to a lot of other pages as well.

I am an ESFP (Performer), but I don't think it completely applies, but then no doubt a lot of people find themselves crosses between the different personality types as there is no concrete definition of a person's personality.

For those of you who got ISTJ (Raven and CattleRustler), like me, I don't think the description from the personality test site is good, but this one was excellent for me:

I think part of the problem is, most of the questions I could find myself thinking - I'm both, I can be this in one situation and this in another, or really depends what you're looking at. I mostly went for the ones that I felt were 'more' even if slightly more, thus the results might not be completely accurate.

It just shows that...
a) They were to lazy to make the test more complicated, and thus more accurate (if they did everything right that is).
b) They're too stupid to believe anyone could ever be "both".
c) other.
d) They were abducted by aliens and told to not make more options in their personality test or the aliens would eat their dog.

I wanted to answer both myself on a few questions. We can't have everything in life. And Personality tests with more options is one of them.

Heh, no problem, yeah, I saw my description on the personality test page, and thought, "That's not me", and then I searched it and it came up with that, and it was almost perfect .
