I am working on a new game called Kingdom Over The Hill. It is a first person educational game. It was inspired by letters kingdom. It purposely has no lightmaps because a five year old is not goingto care about how graphically high tech a game is. Nor will a child want to wait ten minutes for a game to load. KOTH is still in early beta and will be updated on this thread. Here is the story:

You play as the character of a young child's fictional story. The Kingdom Over The Hill has been taken over by Nufon (no fun backwards) and his army of darkness. The
army of darkness is an evil army that was created by the sadness of the kingdom, it
was collected and bottled into jars. Nufon then put each bottle into a machine and
created the army of darkness. You, a brave warrior must set out to destroy the army
of darkness and ban Nufon from the Kingdom Over The Hill forever. Along the way you must solve educational puzzles and mind challenging tasks.

It loks good but maybe to much letters kingdom
I think its great that so many has started to make FP´s (not first person shooter) Silent Depths is also a FP but not for the younger audience.

Instead of putting letters, you could try maybe putting a math problem on the ground, and they have to figure that out so they can put the answer in the key pad to open the door or something like that.

dude, this is really awesome, i mean, the houses are great, (good for the little children) and the genre is just something new for FPSC.

one thing though, maybe, you could add some trees or something, (it could be low poly cardboard ones) but, still, it could make it look fuller, instead of an empty village looking place.

Thanks, glad you like it. BTW, The second level is partly based in a woods, so it has trees.

this actually looks like a comercial educational game, save the serious looking character. with financial backing, this could go somewhere.

Thanks, I am going to buy a better character pack, but for now, I just want to work on the levels. I'm glad people seem to like it. I will be releasing a demo soon.

you need characters like bears cooking in the oven, or bunny pirates, or aligator IRS agents. that way this game will truely be the next-gen of education---> HUZARE (capps off)

Umm... I can't model characters, so unless there is a pack with them in it, I won't have those characters.

you could ask him to put an aprin on the bear and a top hat on the alligator and you could just set their script to people:passive. then they wont attack you
