Hi im new and am just wondering if i used all the tools to build models terrain guns etc, could i then link to sql to create a mmorpg?

Could you just take my wonderful advice and start with multiplayer pong? That is going to be the only thing you can create multiplayer until you are a DB master like TDK.

Theoretically, it is possible to create a MMORPG with the help of certain DLL's, but it is impossible for an individual newcomer to make one; firstly as you would have to be very experienced at coding and how to make online games to know how to do one, but also as a MMORPG would require a lot of media and resources.
