I would really like some comments on this..
Basicly i asked earlier what i should create next. Already had
a hospital kit in mind, But since TGC already released one i wouldn.
How ever it was brought to my mind that wouldn matter so i started on it tonight!

I wanna add alot of choices to this one, so you add varity to your game..

My First model is A Surgical Table/Chair..
It comes in 3 poses, and 2 destroyed versions
It has multiple objects because its not all metal
so when you shoot the leather you get a cloth mat index effect
and when you shoot the metal you get the metal mat index effect

I also created Sheets/Linned for each poses.

And to finalize it i created 5 dif textures and im gonna do this
with every single object in this pack.

First the Clean Version:

Next is the Gore Textures Version:

Also made a burned Texture if someone is making a horror
game in a burned down hospital.

And heres the dirty texture:

And last we have a combo of the Blood and Dirt textures.
Yourll never know when you need both

Would love comments and critism..
i havent tested it with over 20 instances.
But with 20 i had 0 drop in FPS.. all ran 32-33
which it plainly does when i dont drop anything in the game
So that must be no fps loss ^^

Sorry for all the images..

Cheers. Anja

they look great!

one comment:

Excuse my ignorance, but if it was burned, wouldn't the sheet be kind of less... there, and more... burned away...

Yeah i did do that with the burned sheets at first. However this is segments and when i added transparency maps to the sheets. all the edges of the sheet made transparent lines on the char and room segments.. Looked really really weird

Haha sweet! You really released alot of stuff for a low amount. You can probably expect my payment for the others as well as this within a few days.

Anja Viotile,

Great to see that you're moving ahead with the hospital pack. I'll be scooping this one up, when it's made available, to be sure.

Some segment suggestions for the pack:

-surgical viewing gallery
-radiology lab
-emergency room
-morgue
-security office

Thanks,

Seth Black

...do it in parts. Wasn't that how you'd decided to do the Mansion Pack? You could do that here, too.

Actually, you can copy the media from these packs to X10 and they will work. Vista might only have problems with the installer.

I dont own Vista, yet. i Do own x10 though, but not gotten around to install it.. Well i get about 50% of the charges since i dropped payloadz. I pay 2 Times Vat/Tax.. so its around 50% eg selling something for 5$ gives me 2.5$ so far it seems to be the same customers which appear again and again, which is so nice..

this last update is ok, the textures on the saw, scissors and the tray need to be worked again. over all it's not bad.

Cheers,
Dave

I think what Dave means is, define the angles/edges better on the afore-mentioned items. The tray, saw and metal bowl are a bit hard to distinguish because the texture is seamless throughout. The effect you're trying to get would need a shiny metal shader as well as the base texture.

Perhaps you could place them on one of the trays/tables you made for better contrast.

Great work on all the packs so far. Breaking things up like you are, makes them very affordable for most FPSC-goers.

Now i have a question.. How do i make multitextures? not in the way of several textures on 1 object.. But where u plant a floor and it chooses from number of textures randomly?

@Anja Viotile- let me explain a bit on my comment.

The textures that are supposed to be stainless steel are not very conducive with FPSC's shader group. To get them to look proper you need to have reflection and well FPSC lacks in that department. You can leave them the way you have them (painted shadows and gloss) or you could dress them up a bit and make them resemble something other than stainless steal. You could even add the "green" liner that nurses adorn the trays with. that would help break up the over glare effect you are trying to create.

I think the cup/bowl looking thing is the worst out of the group. Even if light were to reflect off of that it would not do so in that manner.

Cheers,
Dave
