how would you put a link on a timer
what i mean
have a link after that appears after 5 seconds of viewing that page

how do you make hit counters for pages

what i mean
how would i make a hit counter that is just for 1 page and not my whole website

i do prefer html but if you can give is in another form e.g. css than that would be good as well

i have 2 websites i put an image on one how would i put the same image on the other using html (hosting it on the other website) then use that picture as a link t a diffrent page

You'll have to do a little more than just HTML for these things.

Q1: You could use Javascript to create a timer and then show the link after that time. I've done something similar, but don't remember exactly what commands it was.

Q2 & 3: You'll need to use a server-side scripting language like PHP. You could then have it store in a database field (or text file if you really wanted) the number of visitors. You can also set a cookie to tell if someone has already been to your site before.
