Got my copy of x10 with the 30% of even before I'll build my upgrade computer, I just could not wait to try it out even though i don't have x10! So I installed, it loaded fine but just can't test or build game witch was what I was expecting, so I put all media in x9 just to have a play. The Chugshot gun works ace and I just had to show you!

the ragdoll isn't a script. it's part of the physics engine, you can't just port it over, so don't go getting all excited.

x10 accually uses light shaders and normal shaders propperly so im guessing thats why the characters don't look so hot eh? The gun though looks fantastic.!

Is it perfectly acceptable if I own a copy to be able to do this? Since I can't run DX10 games, but I would buy it for the media. I assume it wouldn't be a problem.

That is the exact reason I started a thread in the X10 board asking how much new media is in X10. If it was a sufficient amount, and if the license allowed, I would have bought X10 and used the new stuff in X9. However, it sounds like there are only two new guns, and some new segments. Not worth the money.

From what i can see, here is a list, i my be wrong!

Entities;

6 new characters with 7 versions each, all scifi

1 New gun, the Chugshot

Mationtracker, item!!!

Segments;

2 Room segments


ALL SICFI but again i my be wrong, i hope i don't open up a can of beens with this topic but lets not forget x10 was not about media!

No there are lots more stuff new in X10...
More rooms....more meshes...
Especially some new textures for WW2...
the problem is...(or at least i think so)
the maps dont work for the WW2 section....or they didnt create
any maps for it.

In essence it's just a model and a texture. It can be setup useing an existing x9 weapon fpe with no need of darkai.

Yeah, because Dark A.I. is only in X10, so why would you think the scripts would work?

usually fraps and other screen recorders kinda use allot of resources making framerate drop.
