FPSC Classic Scripts / Vaulting?

Hey, I'm planning a game to be made with FPSC x10.

I was just wondering if it's possible to script something for vaulting.

This is the order of how I think it would work:

1. The player runs up to an obstacle that is too high for the player to jump.

2. They press a key, and the game lifts the player higher than the obstacle, then throws them forward over the top of the obstacle.

3. The player hits the ground and keeps going.

Is this possible? I hope it is because I think it's great to allow players to vault objects, makes it easier for exploration.

Thanks in advance,

Shallows.

While advancing the camera is part of walking/running, creating an arc is not. However, you could use the same routines that are used for throwing objects since they calc trajectory and collision. It would just need the camera(player) info. But I'm still betting that everything is hardcoded making it impossible to do through scripting.

Im not concerned with creating an arc that much. I'm just trying to say that is it possible to script a jump, but the player jumps higher than normal. Then the player just gets moved forward, or is that all hardcoded too? If so, then too bad. I just thought it would be a cool addition.

shouldn't X10 have a jump height variable in the player start properties?
Solved.
