Zaibatsu, the lag we were experiencing was network lag. If you're in the same country as him (I assume you are) then the latency between you too shouldn't be too bad. The French guys that I played with earlier had a ping of <120 which worked pretty well.

If you can't get GTA2 working, I'll have a go at Stick Arena.

Ahh, that was great Matt

We played GTA2 (Matt couldnt get it to work, so eventually we quit)
Then Stick Arena (everyone had fun here)
Then Schorched 3D (I couldnt get it to work, so eventually they left)

Overall, pretty fun idea. I might have one of these myself!

I recommend Soldat or Babo Violent 2 as they only require that the host has port forwarding set up, plus there's always a lot of servers available if no one manages that.

Yeah, we should all do Soldat next time! Soldat is fun, fast, free, and addictive. Wish I had thought of that before

28, lol

It was great fun, Peter you missed the GTA2! Hamachi is an awesome tool, made the game work like a charm. Me, Jerico, and Xeno did a few rounds (Jerico was wasting us every round but it was still fun, lol). I'd absolutely love to get a group of people together to play GTA2 online once in a while, that game would be killer with a full server of six people.

And I have to say it: Scorched3D, while dated and a bit confusing to learn, was a lot of fun as well. I didn't understand how to play at first, but the game got better and better over time, and earlier today I ended up playing a few rounds as well. It has the look and feel of a DBC game... I still think it must've been made with that, lol.

Anyway, thanks for coming guys . Even though we had quite a bit of technical difficulty, it was still a lot of fun, and you guys gave me a really awesome birthday party . I'm with Zaibatsu... we should all do this more often!

I'm off to get BF2 now, Agent Dink and I are planning on playing that tonight if anyone wants to meet up online. And I'm sure connecting is a bit easier since it's more modern than the other games we played. Anyway, thought I'd mention that .

I'll try out some bf2, it's a game I've been wanting to get for a while. Never played it though. If it's available in town (and not for an arm and a leg), I'll come play tonite at around 9pm cst. If you guys arent around that late, we'll get together another time

should we say every Saturday at 6 EST? Saturdays work better than Sundays for me. We could always message each other if we want to play in between "official" games, but I think it's important to have set times and days so people can try to set appointments around it.

Well, weekdays are best for me, like, monday nights after 8pm cst. Or tuesday, but afternoons, or wed/thurs any time.

I work Friday through Monday, which is why you see me here more on weekends, because I'm lazy
