Well, as my second token to the fine people of TGC forums, I present some blood sprites/images for Butters' Visual Damage System. And for all who don't know, read the readme, it ISN'T NOOB FRIENDLY. Well, I made them in photoshop, they're not to best (at all) but, for you nice 'n' lazy people out there, here they are! No credit needed, but appreciated! It contains the default 7 general wounds (could be bullet-holes or zombie slashes) and a BIG (possibly obnoxious)death splash.

The world is like an onion, there's disappointment in every slice.

Butter Finger's ting makes blood splats appear on the hud when you take damage, these are blood splats for that system.

on that note, thank you.

Oh, seen!

They're pretty nice work. Perhaps if each splatter had a little bit more splash to it... so you have the main splat, then a coupla blobs?!

But nice work and nice contribution, and just to clear things up, I'm totally fine with this...

'cause you can always see a bullet hole when it hits your head . common, that would be over the top unrealistic.

Darimc: It could have bulletholes if it was a marine with a glass front on his helmet.

@Butters : Thanks, man! I was taking that into context, but I thought slashy globs would be more...open wound-like (if you know what I mean...)
@Inspire : Thanks for clearing that up

--Glad you like 'em...sorta, Shimy

i was wondering would it be possible to have a blood hud overlay based on what enemy attacks you?..

Like the game ive been doing for the last month i have some alien type sucker monster... And since i cant stick the mesh to the player maybe i can replace the mesh with a blood hud so it looks like its sitting on your head?

i think they snould be cracks, like a hole, with little cracks coming off it and the death one is a huge hole shattered in your visor,

in fact i might make that now.....

@Endless FPS Team : You mean like glass being shot or bloody bullet holes
@Anja : I don't think so...but I can mess around with the system a bit...
@coffee grunt : I dunno, my images are general wounds, like bashes, gunshots, slashes, etc. You can make it the way you want

--Thanks, Shimy

Is it possible to have an animated picture play over your HUD?

Could this possible picture be mostly transparent, and overlap with other images as you get more and more injured?
