Hi every buddy!

My friend is hardcore programmer... and got stuck on zis!
And his birzday 2jan!
I'm afraid that common group of presents are not compatible with this type of people. By the way, he's got EVERYTHING of PC-stuff type=)!

SO! What xmas and/or birthday gift can you present to your best friends???

A door is a door is a door. Even a swinging one. =0

zis? Zone Integration Server? The ZIS-110 Limousine? What is your friend stuck on?

Anyway, 1337-speak aside, you've given us no information with which to work. Get him something he likes. Is he into games? What programming tools does he use? Does he make games? Get him something related to something he likes specifically. 'hardcore programmer' just doesn't tell us much.

This should be in Geek Culture. Oh, and I don't care about your friend at all. He can get coal for X-mas.

If he's a Microsoft Guy - a Technet Subscription - though pricey.

A 8-Bit Tie - Joke - but thoughtful - (A silk Tie resembles something out of mario brothers - even shaped in "Squares" kinda - Definately Different and a conversation piece.

Linux Guy? - Tough without knowing him....

He a game maker? Maybe some modeling Software...if he doesn't have it.

Coffee Mug Holder - Coffee Maker that uses those "Coffee" Self Contained things - so you just pop in a little thing looks like a Liquid Creamer Thingy like you see in Conveinance Stores at the coffe area - except they have coffe grounds - and they basically brew a cup at a time - less mess - less fuss.

A Game Maybe? Maybe an Adult Computer Game for laughs - and he might just like it - there must be some stuff like that out there - I know there is a virtual "World" of that kind of thing.

Dunno man... I tried

Call me a big nerd, but I like game related stuff, like I just ordered myself a Warthog toy from Halo3, but I have a few bits and bobs, a ghost with a Brute sitting in it, Leon from RE4 etc etc. I'm not a collector, I just like to have the stuff from my favorite games.

Personally I'd just go on Amazon or something and find a figure from one of his favorite games - it's much less embarrassing when people buy you them as gifts, they make great desk space wasters .

Something else PC related you might want to look into is these desktop missile launchers, you get a little missile launcher that plugs in to USB, then you control it from your PC, bzzzzzt, bzzzzt, aim, FIRE! - household pets beware!.

These ones are from Amazon, but I'm sure there's a few variations.

How come nobody have mentioned Think Geek! This is the perfect place to shop for geeks.

How a bout a glowing Wi-Fi detector t-shirt? I would love one but hand washing is quite a bother...

Or this jumbo binary clock. Geeky and silent, I don't like ticking clocks. Also available in smaler desktop versions.

A portable laser keyboard as the more expensive present.

Cheaper T-shirts I recomend:

How about this:

You plug it into a USB port and the hamster runs when you type!
The faster you type, the faster it runs! hahaha

Wow! So much advises!

@Cash Curtis II zis is this =) i was tired...
He uses all sorts of Basic (Dark,Visual)
He's gamecreator.
And his choice of games is weird... He buys like RND(game list) and only games is sort of thing he buys only by himself. er... So game is not best present until you definetely know that THIS game's he ALWAYS wanted =)

USB fun stuff... how can i forget?! wonderfull!!!

On these days i've found interesting things - different PC coolers and cables that glows in dark. Friend's PC case has big air holes and glowing cooler will be nice there. Or cooler Fatality painted with glowing paint. Modders take note! =)

And idea about minifigures of game chars is wery good too!
GO! GO! Online shopping - wee doggy!

I found one of those a few weeks ago. Here's a link to it with a cool video of it in action!
