Alright so, I have some police tape(as seen below), I followed Roger Wilco's tutorial. How do you get it in the game, I used signs but the black was still there. I want this to disappear. Is it just signs or am I doing something wrong. Remember I did exactly what Roger's tutorial said. I saved it as a dds5 or whatever it was. Can someone help.

First of all, if you want all the 'black' areas to become transparant you might want to lighten up the text on the banner because this looks to me to be black also which might also become transparant.
In your paint program you should save your original image texture a PNG with the backround layer as black (make sure all layers are 'flatened').
Open Signs and use your PNG texture image but make sure you have ticked the 'Transparency box' which will mask any black which appears in your image.Save and your done.
Watch out for that text though.

I hope this has helped and good luck.

If you like the way Signs works with all its features then I strongly recommend actualy purchasing it.
I don't think you will look back on this move as a wrong one.

The only other best way of creating the kinds of media similar to the police tape is to create custom media but this will take a little longer to do.

All the best of luck.

I have sent you and e-mail with a simple wall 'segment' with your texture, in the attachment.
Please read the 'read me' text files for easy install.
I hope it helps and is useful to you.

Sorry for stepping on your toes but I thought it would be just as easy to quickly create the simple segment for Corky.
It's good to see people helping out each other in the Forum.

All the best to everybody
