Has anyone ever used the program JoyToKey (Joystick to Keyboard / Mouse )? I was wondering how would i go about making a program like this with the Dark GDK that came with my Visual C++ Express.

I got the basic idea that "Alright, Joystick button 3 ("X" on a PS2 Wireless Controller ) is being pressed so I want the keyboard button "X" to also be pressed."

What I'm wondering is how would this work with other programs? Like would I have to do anything to convert over to lets say a game running (Maplestory for example) so I could use the controller to act like the mouse for that game rather then explicitly within the confine of my own program.

I think what you looking to make is known as an "TSR" that is a program that is always resident during other apps. DGDK, AFAIK has no TSR engine. You would want to write this with the windows API not DGDK.

Alright thanks, I didn't think it would be possible, but I was really hoping because I know DarkBASIC (Not to hard to convert over to GDK) and some reason I have problems with C and all that, well I guess I'll give that stuff a try. Thanks!
